In September of 2001 while on a business trip to Brazil, Jeff Isaly, founder & president of P3 Gear, watched a local Television Channel as the attack on the World Trade Center unfolded. He was deeply impacted by the attack on the US and was compelled to get involved with the fire, police and rescue workers by helping them anyway possible. After returning to the US Jeff watched rescue dogs go into the destroyed towers. Watching the patriots, both human and canine, risk their lives to save others influenced Jeff to become a k9 handler for search & rescue to serve his community. Since then he has been playing a huge role in many search teams, and has served on many incident command teams for the Oregon State Sheriff's Office. Jeff believes quality gear can make the difference between life and death. Whether teaching others in safety, crisis management, being in a survival situation, managing through a disaster.
